It's been only two days since we entered Bolivia,
yet to us it seems like forever....

up to la paz we've been just fine...

we meant to go to Uyuni (where salt lake is)
as soon as possible, so we went to this
small town called Oruro.

we had to wait for the whole day there
doing nothing much, because the bus to Uyuni
runs only overnight.

Right after we got on the bus,
our backpack DISAPPEARED.
with our camera and all the photos
(that's why we can put any photos up here).

The road was not paved, dirt and rocks all the way.
It was like a roller coaster for 8 hours!

This morning, about 10 km away from the city of Uyuni,
the bus STOPPED.
Running out of fuel, the driver said.
After 1 hour of waiting, a truck came to give us fuel,
so passengers who had empty pet bottles had to go
and get fuel in those bottles.

So here we are in Uyuni, safe and sound,
can't wait for the trip to Salt Lake of Uyuni
and flamingos starting tomorrow!
(Don't expect good photos though)
